Angel

Kevin got his wings Thursday August 9, 2001. His cancer did NOT survive, but Kevin's spirit will live on forever. Kevin went to be with God peacefully and with a smile. We love you Kevin.

Rotating Lemon

Why lemonhead? The tumor in my brain is the size of a lemon. That's why!

2009 Race Results are posted  here

I (Uncle Bob) have updated this website to make it easier to navigate.  Kevin's mom, my sister, has an enormous amount of energy that she has devoted to fighting brain tumor cancer. She has been responsible for the organization and operation of the Annual Kevin J. Mullin 5K Run/Walk each year in April. This is the 8th year for the event which has earned more than $155,000.00 to fight brain tumor cancer.

The Kevin J. Mullin Memorial Fund for Brain Tumor Research is a 501(c)3 organization. All proceeds will benefit brain tumor research.  All donations are tax deductable to the extent allowed by law.

As always, you can click on the runner at the left to get all of the information for the current 5K run. The next scheduled run is to be held April 26th, 2009. Also, there are now navigation links at the top and bottom of each page of this site.

Brain tumor research continues - someday, hopefully, a cure will be found. If you'd like to contribute to the ongoing research or if you'd just like to find out more about the disease, then visit one of the following sites.

  What Kevin has to say

Hello.  My name is Kevin. I have a brain tumor and that is bad! .......
.... but ... I am not going to let it get me! Just because the tumor is the size of a lemon doesn't mean I can't beat it someday. My family and my friends are praying for me and I am so happy for those prayers. They really do help! I want to help others who share my "challenge" to fight it too! Before I found out about this horrible tumor I was happy... and I want to remain happy! So I'm going to remain happy!!!
